HOPE Exchange Participants

Accommodation has been arranged in Trinity College for HOPE Exchange Participants. The college is centrally located in the heart of the city. There are a number of travel options from the airport to Trinity College.

Aircoach
Served by Route 700. The route runs every 15 minutes from 03:25 to 23:55 and every 30 minutes from 23:55 to 03:25. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. A single fare is €7 and a return fare is €12, though journeys may be discounted if booked in advance. Dublin Bus
The Airlink 747 is an express bus service run by Dublin Bus. It runs from 05:45 (07:00 on Sundays) to 00:30 and runs every 10 minutes during peak times and about every 15 minutes off peak times. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. A single fare is €6 and a return fare is €10.

Alternatively, the airport is serviced by the pedestrian 16 bus route. It runs from 06:20 (08:20 on Sundays) to 23:30, running about every 12 minutes during peak times. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. €3.30 per journey and you are advised to have the correct amount of money as refunds are not available and notes are not accepted. Taxi
Delegates should expect to pay about 30 euro for a taxi from Dublin Airport to Trinity College. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

Access to your accommodation in Trinity College
On arrival at Trinity College, please make your way to the Accommodation Office, House 10, close to the College Green entrance. A member of staff will be there to assist you. This office is open from 07.30 am – 01.30 am every day.

Please note that accommodation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Participants will be accommodated in:

  • Botany Bay (single apartments)
  • New square (single apartments)
  • Graduate Memorial Building (ensuite twin apartments)

Please Note: A small number of rooms have been reserved for 10 June to accommodate those who may have to travel to Dublin a day earlier. The cost of this is €100 per night extra per person which must be paid at the time of booking and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Continental Breakfast is included in your conference fee and it is served in the Buttery Restaurant on the grounds of Trinity.

Registration for the Agora will take place in the Lower Concourse, Trinity Conference Centre on Sunday June 11th 15.00 – 18.00.

Country Presentations 

The presentations at the Agora last for 15 minutes, and should be delivered to the organisers at the latest on Sunday 10 June at 18.00. The presentations should not go below the time limit, nor exceed it.

The Beckett Classrooms in the Trinity Conference Centre will be available for Exchange Participants to finalise their presentations on Sunday afternoon from 12.00 until 18.00.

The Agora will take place in the Burke Theatre, Trinity Conference Centre
