The HOPE Agora will take place in Trinity College, Dublin from 11 June to 13 June, 2017. Rooms have been reserved in two hotels, a short travelling distance from Trinity College.

Hotel 1: Clayton Hotel, Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.

Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge in Dublin 4 is located on the corner of Merrion and Simmonscourt Road beside the RDS Arena. It makes an ideal base whatever your reason for travelling to Dublin. The hotel is only a five-minute walk from Sandymount DART station and is accessible by both the 4 and 7 buses into Dublin city centre.

Travelling from Dublin Airport

Travelling by Taxi

Taxis are available from the airport, although availability may be limited during peak travel times.

Expect to pay between €25 and €30.

Alternatively, delegates can reach the hotel by using the Aircoach Service. The Greystones route stops very close to the hotel and is a direct service between Ballsbridge, Grand Canal Dock and Dublin Airport. The service operates on an hourly basis, 24 hours per day. Getting to Trinity College

Trinity College is approximately 4 kilometres from the hotel.

Walking time: 30 minutes approximately

Bus: The hotel is serviced by the number 7 and number 4 bus routes and take 10 minutes approximately to reach the city centre.

Train (DART Service): Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge is a five minute walk to Sandymount DART/Train station.

Hotel 2: Clayton Hotel, Leopardstown, Dublin 18

This hotel is located in the South Dublin suburb of Leopardstown in one of Dublin’s largest business districts. The LUAS Green line (Central Park stop) is a two minute walk from the hotel. The Aircoach terminus is located outside the hotel.

Participants must call the hotel directly in order to book accommodation. The number to the hotel is +353 1 2935000, and dial 1 for reservations. The reservation is made in the name of The Health Management Institute (HMI).

Travelling from Dublin Airport

Travelling by Taxi

Taxis are available from the airport, although availability may be limited during peak travel times.

Alternatively, delegates can reach the hotel by using the Aircoach Service. The Leopardstown route has the hotel as its final stop. The service runs at 30 minute intervals from 00.25 hours to 03.25 hours and every 15 minutes from 03.25 to 00.25 hours. The cost of the journey is €10 single and €16 return and takes approximately 1hour and 15 minutes.

Getting to Trinity College

Trinity College is approximately 12 kilometres from the hotel.

LUAS Tram: The LUAS Green Line tram is a two-minute walk from the hotel to the Central Park Stop. It will bring you to St. Stephen’s Green in the city centre in 22 minutes. It is then a short walk down Grafton Street to the College.

Bus: The hotel is serviced by the number 47 bus and takes 50 minutes approximately to reach the city centre (Fleet Street).

Leap Card is a reloadable smartcard that can be used to pay for individual journeys using Travel Credit.
